We first came to the northwoods to ski, but as the years passed, we realized just how much there is to discover about the upper peninsula.  All the pictures on this Web site were taken personally.  Maybe some of our adventures will inspire you to get back to nature, enjoy the simple life, to be renewed and refreshed. 

We enjoy hiking to the many waterfalls, biking, kayaking, and golfing.  The fall colors are spectacular.  We've seen black bears and deer, among the many other northwoods critters.

In the summer of 2011, we kayaked the sea caves in the Bayfield, WI area and traveled to Munising, MI to sea kayak the Pictured Rocks, This was the most beautiful kayaking we've ever done!  Both places have outfitters and tours.
