Our family first skied at Big Powderhorn in 2000.  We loved it so much that we purchased Bear Hug so we could have a place where we could spend time with family and friends and create memories that would last a lifetime!

Location was a priority because we wanted the freedom of being close enough to the hill that we could come and go as we pleased.  Bear Hug met perfectly the combination of location and price!  We think our renters agree.  Our slogan is:  Close to the trail without the trailside price!  You can ski home for lunch to a pot of soup simmering in the crock pot, take off those ski boots, and relax for awhile. 

A lover of the Northwoods and its décor, we have enjoyed making Bear Hug a cozy retreat.   When we have a large group, friends stay in other units within our building, and often socialize at Bear Hug, due to the open floor plan on the upper level.
